Wow, this looks really fun. Almost like a mix of infamous, dead rising, an ratchet and clank

Covering myself from the incomming crapstorm Im gona say this looks a lot like Infamous, change the crazy powers to crazy weapons, and change the traversing a little bit and Infamous becomes Sunset Overdrive.

Seens like it goes for a Musou style as well.

Nevertheless the game does look like lots of fun but I think calling it GotY material from one small gameplay trailer before even playing it is overkill.

This looks so fun but is it worth having all new consoles? I already have Wii U, 3DS and Vita. Want PS4. Would it be too much to get X1 down the line too (not just but xbox live gold too)? This isn't the only game i want that is X1 exclusive either. I think Quantum Break will also be a great game

Hmm... i see some potencial issues. The problem with having grinds all over the place brings back to mind some of the issues that the Jet set radio series had in wich you end up latching on to rails you didnt mean to, or you cant get on the rail you wanted to get to.

Those special powers can also potencially ruin the balance of the game. Will there even be a reason to use a gun on the ground?

I also found funny that despite the art style the narrator felt the need to tell us this is a "mature" game. Reminds me of Stewie from Family Guy saying male gymnastics isnt gay. Its not... but it sure looks like it.

Anyways good luck to insomniac. Hope they manage to work out the pitfalls that come with all that interactivity. I do wonder if this will click with the Xbox croud though. I can tell they are worried because of the "mature" remark.

Looks like fun but I'll manage my expectations for now. Insomniac has been hit and miss lately.
