I feel like it is the best gaming decision I've made in awhile. Got $396 for the system and headset after some trade bonuses so I only had to pay for the tax. I picked up Infamous SS, MLB 14, Battlefield 4 and MGS GZ with it. 

Titanfall just didn't live up to expectations for me and I didn't get any use out of Kinect or the TV features. I don't really trust 343 to make a good Halo game after the mess they made with 4 either. Plus I was sick of having inferior multiplats on a more expensive console. 

Has anyone else switched next gen consoles yet?

I think most people already picked the right one.

Traded one console with no games for another one. You should have bought a Wii U. It's got more exclusives than the Xbox One and PS4 combined.

J/k.  You've made the right choice, but you probably should have waited a year or two.  The PS4 has been almost nothing but a constant stream of ports since its launch.

You'd certainly hope so after a year and a half :p

I really don't get why anyone would switch from either this early.

Literally all they have right now are a few (mostly mediocre) exclusives and some good "exclusives" available on several other systems (FF14, TF, MLB, etc). Neither seems much more attractive.

Even the WiiU doesn't seem overly attractive to anyone other than a Nintendo fan.

This is pretty much true. XBOne just focused to much on features that the majority of people do not care about.

Trading in a 6 month old system for the other 6th month old system, sounds like you made a bad decision from the start and lost quite a few nights sleep worrying about it and so decided to swap to the other side. I am waiting  for price cuts and a good library of 8th generation games before purchasing a PS4. I am happy with my 7th generation consoles and the games that I need to get through.
