I'm confused over what goes on in your head. 

Those are pretty clear and complementary statements.

Let em spell it out for you: We are developing new hardware always, (as is Sony and Microsoft as they always dabble in R&D). We will be ready to release the next system in time, wich is after when our fans are satisfied with the current generation hardware.

Theres no two ways about this. Iwata mentioned years, not year. This means no Nintendo system will come out until 2017 the earliest. What exactly are you trying to say?

Didn't he also say that they weren't releasing any new handhelds any time soon, about 8-12 months before the 3DS released? These are mere words and if things don't improve significantly, there is no reason not to replace the Wii U within, say, 2016, especially if their plans of tandem software development for two simultaneous platforms are to come to fruition.

Nah, there was something, I can't seem to find a link. And I meant before the 3DS was announced, small slip-up there. They denied any replacement for the DS not long before the 3DS was announced. They also denied a new 3DS model a few months before the 2DS was officially revealed;

They didn't outright deny the 3DS XL they just said that Nikkei's report was not based off things announced by Nintendo, was full of mistakes and is nothing more than conjecture. Nikkei might have got the larger 3DS right, but car navigation, karaoke and books for the Wii U? Very interesting!

I wouldn't be surprised, though if they had to deny something because someone made a lucky guess, especially when the report came less than a week before the E3 presentation.

I agree until that point. The later is just lies just as how they were ready for HD development (struggling until now) and there won't be droughts after launch, and after E3 last year (and there were droughts after launch and after last holidays).

They are ready to launch a new console and they will see when, not when you say you are satisfied. It could happen tomorrow or in ten years. I don't know where you get the 2017 date. That's just speculation.

They will release Wii PU when they feel the Nintendo faithful are ready to buy Mario 2d, Mario 3d, Mario Kart, Wii Party PU, and other such titles all over again.

No, trestres is wrong. Nintendo's fiscal year that just ended was 2014, so now it's already FY2015 for them. Meanwhile, Sony counts their fiscal years differently, so the same timeframe in calendar terms is one fiscal year behind (Sony is in fiscal year 2014 right now).

Then FY2016 is too soon for a homeconsole as it's next year and FY 2017 seems more reasonable.

Clarification on a few things...

1) yes when I'm speaking of games I'm not excluding 3rd party... just didn't mention any by name.

2) I didn't put in any actual quotes on purpose. I'm waiting for the full Q&A in English to be on their site. However, my paraphrases of what was reported are directly from those investors tweeting about the event live as I was following the GAF thread at the time.
