They cant afford to do a PS3 with all custom components that cost the earth, mass produced off the shelf stuff where all devs no exactly how they work is the future, they need to go back to innovating with software like the old days, not shit plastic gadgets that bloat the price, that even they are not sure what to do with in there flagship titles, playing as the block placer in mario is the worst piece of innovation in their history. (ok maybe virtual boy is still worse)

I'm very up for the idea of the fusion system if it was true, where all their games work across all their devices, they are split too thin supporting 2 devices.

Not well enough obviously. So far, the boost has put it on track to reach it's projections. It was common among fans earlier to say they will beat their projections easily.

I think they will beat their projections, but of course, not easily. 

I do too. Probably about 4m for the FY. Thinking they will beat it is fine, I have no problem with that. What I am against are people that said things like the post I quoted saying they will beat it on MK8's launch window... that's not happening and I've found 13 people with comments like that (or greatly over estimating HW bump). Now, I have permission to recreate it but I have to be more specific of the users and gather examples of people saying it. (Which is what I was doing when I quoted fliescher). The thread I made wasn't intended for the resonable people at all. But for the people like in this thread http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=181594&page=1# who were saying stuff like 500k HW first week.
