Ah yes, someone mentioned Kung Fu Hustle. Great movie, probably one of the funniest movies I've ever seen. It's available for free on YouTube (in parts), so you have no reason to not watch it.

Haven't seen Shaolin Soccer though.

shailin soccer is better than kung fu hustle. however, "Kung Pow: Enter The Fist" is on a completely different level. its easily one of the funniest movies i ever seen.

Letters from Iwo Jima. Also instead of watching Spike Lee's Malcom X read the actual autobiography of Malcom X by Alex Haley its miles better and much more informative.

This is part of a two movies, two stories thing right? One is the view of the Japanese soldiers and one from the view of the American soldiers?

I want to see both movies, they seem really good. :)

Yeah the other movie is Flags of Our Fathers which I haven't seen yet but I heard is pretty good also.

Nice opportunity to show my fancy editions ;) Pretty obvious ones:

I'd recommend them, but not all are in my top 50 list.

The one with the German name is Once Upon a Time in the West. OUaTi America is also recommended.

My top 3 are Apocalyse Now, 2001: A Space Odyssey and Taxi Driver.

Saw 2 movies the other day... 'the physician' and 'I frankenstein'.
Both turned out better than I expected they would be but I didnt have much expections from frankenstein to begin with.
