OMG looks like we will get a new farcry game announced soon. and it seems its during the ice age... cant wait... HYPE!

So who is going to make the paris game week thread?

So unlike most of Sony's conference this Paris is a bit more predictable because of all the announcements before the show like Quantico Dreams and Dreams scheduled for the event. Hopefully they still have a few more good surprises like that level 5 RPG announced.

Gamescom or now Paris Game week isnt about big announcements. its about the smaller mid range games.

2014 it was Until Dawn, PT, Tearaway, Wild and Tommorrow Children. 

2013 was Shadow of the Beast, Rime, Everybody's Gone to the Rapture. 

2012 was Puppeteer, Killzone: Mercenary, Tearaway (Vita) and Rain. 

This year wont be any different. they will show of their some of their announced AAA games. but reserve their big AAA announcements for later shows. i think Quantic Dreams game could be the only AAA exclusive announced. i doubt TLG and Horizon will show, more likely at PSX like how Uncharted skipped gamescom last year to be at PSX. 

what i expect this year

Uncharted Multiplayer Reveal. Battlefront Trailer. CoD trailer (possibily Zombies). Assassins Creed Trailer. Street Fighter Trailer. new wild gameplay or trailer/info. Dreams Gameplay. No Mans Sky to support VR and be a launch title. Anything Destiny. Hitman gameplay. Dreams gameplay and lots of info. Ratchet and Clank Trailer. Maybe some Alienation. and some mid tier announcments, and probably a good number of them. 

no megatons. Gamescom/Paris game week isnt the place for megatons. 

hopefully. would be about time. i think this was announced before the PS4 even released, right? 

I think a new GT would be megaton best place to announce it in the series best selling region.

you could say the same about Uncharted, but that didnt happen. 

this is how i see things pan out.

E3 - Announce the big AAA games, any megatons if there is. and big exclusives

PGW - update on the AAA games close to release. announce mid sized and smaller games, update on some third party games

PSX - update for the AAA games announced at E3 and too big to show at gamescom like Uncharted (well in 2014), Horizon and TLG. announce an AAA game or two that was to soon to announce at E3. 

so in terms of the size of the shows it would be like E3>PSX>> PGW

I guess TGS doesn't count.

I don't even want much from PGW other than:

PSNow launch for Continental Europe
PS1/PS2 (+ psp?) support for PS4
Rime update/release date

They might as well tell us when Tomorrow Children's out cause that is still slated for this Fall

TGS is for a different market. a TGS megaton could be a worthless announcement during E3 and visa versa.
