Btw for all anime watchers the Crunchyroll app is finally available outside of the US. All 3 platforms.

The animes there are recent? Japan audio or dubbed to English? Does it has subs (at least in english if it's Japanese audio)?


Yes they simulcast several, though if you don't subscribe you have to be 1 week behind (newest episode is always premium-only)

Japanese audio. I think there might be some dubs but I stay away from that so I'm not sure

It even has Brazilian subs so you're covered there

I dislike Crunchyroll. The Android app was okay, though overwhelmingly simplistic in navigation. It was decent for watching Hunter x Hunter at least. The web player is garbage though. One of the worst I've used. It is total balls at streaming HD content. I prefer my sites that operate off of fan subbing, or captures from brave souls willing to deal with Crunchyroll or Funimation (who's player is admittedly okay most of the time).

Maybe the PS4 app is okay, but I'd rather stay up to date and use my laptop. Technically I could use my anime sites on the PS4 browser too, if I want to go that route.

The PS app works fine
And yeah you can use the browser to do that..sadly the best site is currently down for a few weeks

That site is actually my backup site. Mostly because it is so ad crazy, and I have another site that gets legit HD fast with a great collection of subbed and dubbed that is expanding daily thanks to a few super dedicated uploaders. I have a backup backup that I ended up using for the latest episode of Rokka last night since my main site didn't have it until a few hours after I went to sleep. My backup backup isn't bad. Their collection is just really small for anything that isn't from the past few seasons.

Considering how picky I am about quality, I'm pretty happy with the options I have available.

I used Funimation for awhile, but I exhausted it of all the anime that sounded interesting after a few months and decided to go back to my less legal sites. Funimation's collection is seriously lacking, unfortunately.

Yeah, at least it has my favorites up there. (like DBZ, Cowboy Bebop, Space Dandy, etc)
