They wouldn't announce a Horizon delay so soon. The game is till a year and a half from release.

I think they are being deliberately diplomatic always want to have some wiggle room in case something goes wrong. Also there's marketing material at Gamescom that straight up says "coming 2016" :D

and yeah it gives some wiggle room, but ughh.. i want them to be so sure that they dont need wiggle room.

Not what you think :P There's a Horizon banner or something at Gamescom that says that, saw it on twitter.

Edit: It's a little hard to tell but here it is
