I hope my PC version won't be held down by the strongest console the Ps4 just because Sony failed to deliver something on par with the PC industry from 2013.

You can complain about every single machine if you have something stronger.

Maybe the PS4 resolution will be same as XB to prevent it getting killed, but they will release a 1080p patch later on for PS4 like they did with ghosts.

i think its very crucial for MS that this game is at least on par with the PS4 version COD games have been viewed almost like a XB exclusive they always had dlc first, superior version and much better sales on the XB platform last gen

looking at ghosts which currently stands about even with the PS4 in XB1s territory in US and is behind in WW sales you dont want to continue to lose that fanbase, i believe it will have negative affects to the XB1s platform other than AW SW sales

Doubt pc version will matter, CoD is long dead now on pc. Console versions on the other hand are all that matter to Activision, I suspect the ps4 will be lead for programming but xbox one for marketing.

This isn't PS3 and 360. They were fairly different hardware pieces and leading with one of them could usually screw the other version. But PS4 and X1 are almost identical, you won't have to lead with one version. PS4 version will probably have some extra details only because the hardware is more powerful. The entire PS4 and X1 architecture was made to allow easy porting between both consoles and PC (it's not a direct cooperation between MS and Sony, but both knew they should use a more traditional hardware to cut dev costs down for 3rd parties).

Well, I won't buy CoD at all, that post was more about pretty much every game where PS4 users complain about Xbox One as the reason why they get "something which is held back" " even if they have as well a machine which is nothing impressive to talk about.

Fair enough but if I was paying £50 I'd expect my version not to be gimped, just because Microsoft decided Kinect mattered more than the console hardware itself. As for me well as long as the games are fun I ain't that bothered, I use my pc as much as my ps4 anyway.

Wll judging from CoD: Ghost, wouldn't be that surprising if the PS4 version was the definitive version, didn't need thuway to point that out :p

IDK, he may be right, but personally, I believet that they are not necessarly priortizing either version, but instead co developing the X1 and PS4 versions together.

 This is not like 7th gen where the 2 platforms had darastically different architectures, they are both X86, they both have the same processor, same type of GPU, and same amount of RAM.  While X1 may have some challenges asociated with it's RAM speed & smaller GPU size, it is still very similar to the PS4 HW wise.
