PC owner are just to busy playing games :P

In a reality, this is a forum about sales, and this info is not easly avaiable for consoles. We need something in the line of MS republic and ps nation.

I would happily discuss the strtegic games that seems to be only avaible on pc so far.

Wait we are supposed to actualy play the games we buy? Well shit that is what I have been doing worng. I have just been spending all my time looking at deals sites to buy as many games as cheaply as possible while also trawling kickstarter for games to back. I never actually thought of playing them...

We do kinda have a PC community mega thread, but I made it so it's a bit wacky and it's mostly me just posting a lot of news stories and anime GIFs.

I know i dont post much in the thread but i still think you should change the way you post news in that thread.

I know i already suggested it and people didnt seem to agree, but its super tough to follow the thread if you havent been following every day. And thats not because theres too many posts from too many people (which is the case in the XB1 thread).

Anyways just thought id throw that out there again.

I am happy to change how I post things as long as it doesn't make work for me and other people agree. The question is how to change it. I mean there is a tonne of PC gaming related news constantly. Hell I don't even post all of it as it is, I keep the hardware stuff to a minimum (mostly because I don't follow it all that closely these days) for example. And I usually bundle most things into one post because the thread is enough of me multiposting as it is and it's a bit quicker to do it in one go. And it doesn't help formating in this forum is a pain in the arse. Half the time any formatting I do disapears as soon as it's posted for some reason. It will look fine in the editor but it fucks up as soon as it's posted, even stuff like page breaks dissapearing etc. I could be more selective in what I post of course but that means me trying to decide what is interesting news to post which I try to do little of as something that might not be interesting to me might be to someone else and vice versa. Pc gaming is increadibly diverse lol.

So again I am open to suggestions, and maybe i can try out some different formats. But what I am doing now while far from ideal seems to work, at least for most people.

Check out my hype threads: Cyberpunk, and The Witcher 3!

Gaben also agrees with you, zero!

We should have a dedicated PC hardware news thread, it's a topic all to itself essentially.

CHOP CHOP! Get to it Zarx!

--::{PC Gaming Master Race}::--

Because us PC folk are too busy playing games to worry about keeping a forum alive.

Current Game Machines: 3DS, Wii U, PC.

Currently Playing: X-Com(PC), Smash Bros(WiiU), Banner Saga(PC), Guild Wars 2(PC), Project X Zone(3DS), Luigis Mansion 2(3DS), DayZ(PC)

Because while the console warriors are still fighting, we have already won.

Well for starters, "glorious mater pc gaming race" fans are just so awful it makes me want to stay away from PC gaming

But the draw isn't there in the same way it is for consoles. Most of us came here because of sales and even if not every discussion is based around sales, it's the reason we came here

But in reality, the whole site seems quieter than it used to

Well, this forum doesn't really offer much for PC players. You have console sales and still at least half accurate game sales on console. For PC there are no tracked hardware sales and the game sales are all totally wrong since most PC gamers buy the games digital. This site is totally useless for anything about PC sales.

Then you have the frames and resolution threads or the "my console or this exclusive is better" threads. Or "haha the console got already a price reduction" and "my console sells better on Amazon". If we wouldn't have those then the console section would be also not that big.

A big part of this forum does really only live because of Sony vs. Nintendo vs. Microsoft and not because of "let's simply talk about this game without the idea to bash something"

Sure, sometimes we have also threads about how PC is so much better or sucks  but that's not so often.

PC players could start posting charts at least, sureley steam and gfk release charts even without numbers.

I agree with this sentiment.

I think there are enough users that would like a dedicated hadrware thread whilst freeing up the main thread for actual games news/info.

Good luck Zarx
