I see someone closed a thread about this concern.  Anyone who has been keeping track of VG Chartz data will soon come to discover that the Xbox 360 totals actually decrease on a month to month basis.  It's obvious that there are questions that need to be answered and locking a thread isn't an answer.  People who find this trend alarming and deceptive because no real reason was given should contact NPD immediately with their concerns about associating their numbers with VG Chartz and the credibility problems it would cause NPD if it allows it's name and reputation to be used or be seen as an endorsement of VG Chartz.  Also mention the fact that the owner of the website uses a Nintendo image that could be seen by some as an endorsement of Nintendo when a site should be seen as neutral towards the companies who they're collecting this kind of information on.  

If you would have actually looked more closely you could have seen that the original thread was posted twice so one got closed.

 God.... read a little more before bursting like this about nothing.

It still does not answer the questions and concerns I mentioned.

Edit: I'm considering creating an online petition to send to NPD voicing some of these concerns and posting it on approximately 45 forums and newsgroups with the hope that it'll be spread to all gaming related websites.  Maybe if there are enough signatures it might convince NPD to help get answers.

 you do realize that vg charts updates weekly and then revises based on actual sales right?  They arent "decreasing" sales, they are overstating through the month and then correcting their figures.......its not like they are taking away sales so there is 5 million one month and then 4 million the next.

Dont come here all hostile with your nose in the air when youre misinformed and then threaten the people of this site with some grass roots movement, mr high and mighty.

Wow, guys this site is soo anti Xbox, geez he posts because he doesn't know why and you guys start insulting and flaming him.

It's because of his tone Andrew. He has insulted this very nice and fair website. He isn't waiting for replies before being threatening towards it. I find his attitude very rude and can't really take him seriously. I have no problem with the Xbox360, just his aggression :)

Add to that the fact he hasn't even posted on the main thread about this topic.. How can I take him seriously?
