Gibbo: Iwata saying this fiscal year to increase profits- 3/15, not grow dramatically in 3/16 but develop pillar for growth with growth in 3 /17

I think the Mario and other general figures will be for Smash Brothers ... the game literally has toy trophies in it.

Translation: Iwata's trying buy himself as much time as possible on the hot seat.

Hopefully he delivers on profit guidance for once though, it's been three years :(

Well I wouldn't buy the NFC game but I wouldn't mind having a LInk figure beside my computer. It's hard to find Nintendo merchandise in stores nowadays (how I prefer to buy). Man, I miss the days when Pokemon stuff was readily available outside of Japan...

Umm... for Smash brothers? They said it's for the new NFC game.

They said it was for multiple games, they never said it's for a specific game. From the diagram it looks like the Mario figure works even with older games (NSMBU, Mario 3D World seem to be pictured there). 

Gibbo: Iwata- not hopeless or at a loss in coming up with something new but unless existing users satisfied we cannot release next hardware

So... does that mean hes gonna release the next console soon (as in before 2016) or does that mean they are just continuing to develop the next console and release it after a standard 5 year cycle for the wiiU? (Which it is most likely)

Either ways, its gonna get miss-interpreted up the ass

Why do people always assume console? I think honestly the handheld business is more near and dear to Nintendo's heart, they must act to save that in whatever way they can. 

That handheld will probably just be able to play games on a TV in some fashion, thus replacing the need for a console anyway.
