Part 1: Nintendo's Q4 Earnings will be released on May 7th.

Nintendo anticipates an operating loss of 350 million for year-end, resulting in a 250 million loss (net income).

Much of the anticipated loss can be attributed to the Wii U hardware still being sold at a loss, and the increased expense in R&D and Marketing.

A new fiscal-year has started for Nintendo as of April 1st. As such, projections, strategies and estimates (profitability) will be provided in the report and should be an interesting read.

For Q4, Nintendo expects sales of 1.85million and 390k for 3DS and Wii U respectively.

Projected estimates for Fiscal-Year are as followed:

3DS - 13.5 million

Wii U - 2.8 million

Part 2: Nintendo's Q4 Results - Loss Announced

For Q4, Nintendo posted an operating loss of 450 million, resulting to a 330 million loss(net income).

For their Fiscal-Year, Nintendo posted an operating loss of 465 million, resulting to a 240 million loss (net income).

For FY15 (April 2014-March 2015) Nintendo's guidance are as follows:

Operating Income: 400 million

Net Income: 200 million

Nintendo still has a lot of money in the bank but they shouldn't make a habit of having a loss every quarter.

I still believe that their loss will be a litle bigger than they predicted. 3DS lose much momentum on 2014.

Anyway, i'm looking forward to see at how much they will set their expectations for the next year.
