I have a friend who loves mcr, fob and simple plan we both play guitar(we are learning we are not that good for now)and he always star singing simple plan or sum 41 songs and it gets really annoyingone kid almost beat him up for singing that type of stuff.

Bands like X Japan where the Band leader Yoshiki is the worlds fastest Drummer and has been playing Piano since he was 4 years old (He's 42 now) have no recognition from these types of people.

This was the main thing I hated about my ex, we'd have endless fights over what bands are better, her loving the talentless bands of course.

Sometimes talent is making something that is catchy, not just making something technically brilliant.

Not that i'm saying that dude isn't amazing. I've never heard him. But the general public care little about how difficult something is to play and more about how easy they can sing along to it.

It depends on the bands your bitter about. Your talking about the hardcore vs casual music industry. I'm the same way about movies, like Transformers or Pirates.

well...to be hontest, of the current popular bands, my chemical romance is definately the most talented (well at least the guitarist is). There is no other band played on mtv with solos like mcr. Im not saying hes anywhere near as good as guys like Jimmy Page, but for todays standards, you cant say mcr are as talentless as other bands these days.
