I really don't want Persona 5 on Nintendo hardware to be honest. I feel as though not only will it make the costs of developing the game go up more since your developing for multiple platforms, but I just do not believe that the audience is there. Sure, Persona Q might sell decently, but the sales will be no where near Persona 4 on the Ps2. Also lets be honest, non-Nintendo games most of the time never do that good on Nintendo systems.

No Persona game will have sales near Persona 4 on the PS2.

lol Persona 5 is easily going to outsell Persona 4.

First Million Seller incoming? :0

I think it can sell up to 400-500k FW in Japan so yeah 1 million WW should happen.

Actually I disagree, Though the userbase isnt there, Persona 4 Golden sold close to the original with less than an 8mil userbase.

Also Persona has jumped up in popularity that i think it has a very strong chance to surpass a million... Need an Ex? Fire Emblem Awakening. Sold on one of the lowest HW and not only has it surpassed 1mil barrier, its going strong and likely to break 1.5mil by end of this year

That doesn't mean anything. Systems with installed bases that low regularly have high attach rates. I genuinely can't see anyone who wasn't interested in Persona at it's peak being interested in it now.

Expect the Persona series has grown a lot since Persona 4. We simply haven't seen it in an obvious way yet but you better believe Persona 5 will be bigger than any other Persona game before.

Atlus to become a Huge Fantastic Game Developer in the near future? (PQ=$$$ and P5=$$$$$$ :0)

Question, how much do you think PQ will sell WW? Looking at several things, i think  it has a chance to be one of the best selling games in the entire SMT series O.o

I mean EO games do pretty well in the West and this is persona! Japan sales will be surprisingly huge FW! (

I think half a million should happen but I'm really unsure how much it will sell in Europe. Atlus isn't treating Europe very well.

But I'm not sure I would say that the EO games are doing well in the West and on the 3DS though..

Also I beat DDS in 25 hours and DDS2 in 20 hours. I spent an extra 10 or so hours on both for optional bosses. I don't know if your 30-40 hour estimate is including them (and starting NG+ maybe), but if not that's generous.

The 30-40 hours is including optional bosses and mastering all the mantras.

*edit*  Specifically since according to how long to beat, the average person is slow at completing games whether it's their first time or not.  The time it takes for me to complete everything on some games is sometimes less than it takes for the main game on HLTB.  I've most recently played Suikoden so I'll use that as an example, but I haven't played it in years and during my current playthrough, varied my party with new characters every single area so didn't use the same few the entire game, got 108 stars although didn't revive Gremio because I was too late to get Leon so had to wait until after the last war battle, and I still got 10:15 while HLTB's average is 22 hours for the main story.  This is with player statistics of over 200.  The main story "rushed" statistic is 19 hours, and the speed run statistic is 12 hours.  I certainly didn't attempt a speed run and finished the game faster.

So yeah, my time I listed on DDS was a little generous 30 hours being only five more than what you listed, but based it on a complete playthrough because imo, the average person completes games pretty slow when comparing times on games at places like HLTB.

Considering Nintendo's next handheld probably won't even be half as powerful as PS3, probably not.

LOL wat??? You dont think nintendo next hh will be as powerful as Vita?

It might be, but I said it won't be as powerful as PS3. Last I checked, Vita isn't as powerful as PS3. It's about on the same level as the 360.

I actually agree with your first post, only because Vita isn't even half as powerful as a PS3 and I also expect Nintendo's next handheld to only be a little better than Vita graphically wise. The difference between 360 and PS3 is negligible, actually, saying it's on the same level as a 360 is the same saying it's on the same level as a PS3. Multiplatform games should tell you enough, NFS Most Wanted runs at 360p with graphics much worse than the 720p 360 version, Borderlands 2 is an even bigger example of the significant hardware difference between Vita and last-gen consoles.
