I still have no idea what the tits was going on in that commercial

Its like they gave a hipster to do their ad commercials for all the hipsters that aren't gonna but a wiiU anyway cause they are too busy buying hispter products

It's really not a bad ad, it's just that god awful music. I mean really, it doesn't go with the ad at all, I don't understand what they were thinking lol

Probably a video with Miyamoto would sell more wii u than this.

The music is quite terrible, but it also has a certain grating quality besides that. "How U will play next" is a pretty presumptuous tag line, and the whole thing seems forced and patronizing and has the kind of douchiness I've come to expect from Microsoft and Sony's "casual" pushes. It definitely lacks the inviting charm of Nintendo's Wii adverts.

Wow!  where can i get the fancy tablet for my wii??

Seriously though, the music is absolutely awefull in that comercial.

What were they thinking?

Dat horrible music, even worse than the one from the Sonic Boom trailer.

i kinda liked the concept but the music was god awful, it only focused on kids and parents. and it showed like 2 games.. it should have showed zombi U in it or something.

I find it funny that you guys are saying the music is bad. While I don't think the music is the best fit, I think that the music was of little consequence to the overall quality of the advertisement.

I think that a better advertisement would have been one that is less sporadic and took more time to highlight the games and unique gameplay elements. Also, like badgenome pointed out, the "How will U play next" probably put off (or at least didn't help) a lot of people. They probably should have went for something less assertive.
