Let's be serious here.  When has Sony actually had a good E3 and by good E3, I mean not worse than both Microsoft and Nintendo? I'm not talking about winning simply because of a price announcement, etc. I'm talking about winning E3 because of all the games. Every single E3 Sony has showed the least amount of interesting "new" games.. On E3 2012 half of the entire conference was Wonderbook, something that was a complete waste because not even the people it was aimed towards wanted it..

It is hard often to gauge E3 for Sony because half their strength at least is thrid parties.  The Sony press conference is generally solid, but I admit I look for several other publishers with equal excitement. I doubt someone like Atlus will be allowed on the big stage, although nice touch last year to let so many small studios have some limelight.

To be honest, I don't think LBP is really as comparable saleswise

LBP is a system seller, bigger than infamous and maybe god of war.

We all know that Sony, Microsoft & Nintendo are all gearing up to unleash their potential system seller game lineups, for the coming holiday season and the next 12 months there after.

The big guns will come out, battle lines will be drawn, names will be taken and bubble gum will be chewed.

The game line ups and release dates will be two of the biggest deciding factors in who ultimately wins the battle of sales.

There can and will only be 1 winner.

If Sony plays its cards right, the Playstation 4 will continue to dominate the sales charts between Nov 2014- Nov 2015, and here is how.

- Uncharted 4 Nov 2014

- God Of War Mar 2015

- Little Big Planet Aug 2015

- Gran Turismo Nov 2015

There are tons of other games sprinkled in between these 4 major releases too.  Already with a 3 Million unit lead on M$ and a 1+ Million lead on Nintendo, Can either Microsoft or Nintendo compete if Sony releases this big 4 within Nov 2014 -Nov 2015 ?

God of War is on a huge decline. You can only take a repetitive hack-and-slash, button masher series so far until people get sick of it.

Little Big Planet is pretty mediocre now, I don't think it's much of a "OMG I need that game now!" series.

Gran Turismo series is still selling strong.

Uncharted 4 is what alot of people (myself included) are waiting for.

I'm hoping for more new IP's from Sony and not just the usual games continued from last gen

Uncharted and Gran Turismo must b continued obviously...its like Sony's halo and gears combo. But the rest of the devs should be creating new IP's imo.

I voted for comeback from MS. MS has never stood by and watched the competition just speed by...they always react and they have the money to react strongly.

Intel Core i7 3770K [3.5GHz]|MSI Big Bang Z77 Mpower|Corsair Vengeance DDR3-1866 2 x 4GB|MSI GeForce GTX 560 ti Twin Frozr 2|OCZ Vertex 4 128GB|Corsair HX750|Cooler Master CM 690II Advanced|

I think... well, hope, we see a new IP or two. Out of the established/known games and franchises, I suspect we'll see:

The Order- Fall 2014
Drive Club- Fall 2014
Uncharted 4- Nov 2015
GT7 Prologue- 2015

Possible reveals:
Media Molecule game (possibly an LBP title)- 2015?
Quantic Dream Game- 2016?
God of War- March 2015

And I really hope they resurrect/reboot Syphon Filter. I think it'd be the perfect time for a truly modern version.

Can they do it though? When they tried it with the PSP games, it slowed down the pace to a borefest. Logans shadow was better than dark mirror but i'm unsure they are able to bring the series back to what it was. Even golden abyss was lukewarm.

I wish they could pull it off though.

Gamers are going to win this E3, only fanboys discus which company made the better announcements.

@kupomogli

in that case the big 3 as a whole have failed. unless of course you're talking bout your opinion, then that's a different story.

try not stating your opinions as fact!!!

So because someone has a discussion about who they felt had a better conference/made better announcements they are a fanboy?.....great logic there.

On Topic:

I opened this thread thinking you had some kind of secret that no one else knew(Mega Bomb) lol. And how did you not list The Order: 1886? While you listed some of their big games that we know are coming. I am more interested with what new IPs they have in the works. Sony always tries new things and take chances on games whether they sale or not. And I personally appreciate them for that.

Also I am looking forward to what MS has in store because I am sure they have some great new stuff in the works as well! Looking forward to E3 this year!

Yes that is a decline, but 9 million is still 9 million.

God of War 2013 vs GOW 3, LBP drop offs since the 1st, and GT.....damn. Much more severe in this case.

Exept you lack proof abut a decline, Vg cant track anything these days let alone a world wide seller like GT.  And then there is digital, which has been gainig slaes share.

LBP2 has digital, 1 had not.

Ok....so what, maybe 10%....20% tops. Still doesn't change the big picture. Take off the blinds, it has nothing to do with you. Your ego has nothing to do with video game IP's selling on a decline.
