People in this thread have been overly harsh towards Vgchartz. Their tracking might have been slightly off lately...but looking at the bigger picture and the overall tracking for this generation..Vgc has done really well.

I remember not too long ago we were all congratulating Vgc on amazing tracking. And now Vgc is a joke simply because PS4 isnt ahead of X1 in the US and it doesn't perfectly align with NPD?

Now im not saying not to question the numbers, but if you have something to say at least keep the insults out of it.

Those Xbox One numbers in the UK are over 50% of the total in Europe.

~11,500 in the UK vs ~9,000 in the rest of Europe. Thats quite something. Someone correct me if Im wrong here, but I dont remember the 360 ever having/ maintaining a ratio like that with UK to Mainland Europe. Granted, the Xbox One is still to launch in a lot of EU countries, but I just find that UK bias on the numbers to be a tad surprising.

No, I don't think the 360 ever maintained a ratio like that, but all things considered I don't really find this ratio for the X1 surprising. Aside from not being available in all European countries there's also missing the advantage of being available earlier and cheaper than the competition that the 360 had and MS trying way harder to compete in the UK than they are in the rest of Europe.

I supose it's due to many tier 2 or 3 (unreleased countries) get their stocks from the UK since the X1 is available for purchase in a lot of the major retailers in those countries, they must be getting them from somewhere and the UK is my bet.

People is getting mad with the number because VGC continue to insist in the same error... After March it can't make this mistake again because:


March

+ TF release

+ TF bundle at $450


April

+ No big release

+ TF bundle back to $499


April number in VGC is a mistake unacceptable... ioi needs to work that.

PS. When I first saw the number I was 'Is VGC trolling with us?'
