PS3 is pretty much better than ever imo. PS4 picks in the past 3 months have been bad. Outlast and Resogun were good though.

Nope. My brother is having a blast with Batman and I still play Mercenary Kings and Lone survivor on my PSVita. REally looking forward to the pupeteer, Skullgirls and Limbo. PS+ is still doing great for me.

Maybe. They've already attracted lots of people to the service and more and more are joining, so maybe they will give fewer higher quality games.

One month is not enough to suggest a trend.

But even if the quality did diminish, that would not necessarily suggest anything about PlaystationPlus. Due to developers transitioning in the next generation, we're going to see less amazing games being developed for past gen consoles. And since developers are still getting used to current hardware, there's going to be few great games on current gen consoles too. So there's simply not as many amazing games compared to the peak of a generation. Even considering this, PsPlus has done a good job at picking the few great games out there - we've had some of the best games from last year like Bioshock Infinite and Tomb Raider. 

One solution to this problem may be to offer older - yet still great - games to counter the recent decrease in quantity of games. Unfortunately, this strategy would not satisfy gamers like yourself as you would call the games old. 

Going up for me. No point in getting "big expensive AAA" games when I already bought them eons ago. Didn't even touch TR, Bioshock infinite, Arkham city, etc just to name a few, but i've been all over Resogun and Mercenary Kings

Is this official? If so, I'm very excited for Puppeteer and Limbo (glad I passed on recent sales).

Overall the month is relatively weak, but not every month can be great.

OT: is anyone else with a PS+ subscription reluctant to buy games on PSN, even when they're on sale? I figure sooner or later they'll pop up for "free."

I actually just had this dilema last night and last month with Awesomenauts. I was going to buy Strider last night, but stopped because I had that same thought. I did a search to see if the game for May was announced yet just to make sure I wasn't going to get it a couple weeks later free.

However, I think all the games they have offered so far have been released with its PS+ month, same with next months game. Maybe they are making sure PS4 owners aren't buying games that are about to be free, while the library is small.
