Its coming to NA for $349.99. Or at least ours is. Not sure if ours is different fron other retailers though and if there will be a cheaper option
Why does every good thing come to Europe and Japan and not NA... Like what in the actual fuck is NoA doing?

Stupid price. Look at Microsoft, backed into a corner and they give Titanfall away for free ALONG with price discounts. Nintendo should be doing the same, giving MK away for free.
The price is too high.
Just so I understand this right, in the UK you can get a Wii U including 2 games for 240 pounds, in the US you get the same thing for $300 and now you release a MK8 bundle, throw in a Wii Remote Plus and a bunch of random stuff and sell it for 300 pounds or $350 depending on the region?
Nintendo you never seize to amaze me these days.

Indeed when I learned of the $349.99 price a couple weeks back I was shocked.

Really? I'm not. Nintendo do not seem to want to fight for WiiU anymore. XB1 has been out 1 year ess than WiiU, has far better sales, and MS are already fighting far far harder than Nintendo ever have for sales.
I know Nintendo don't want to make a loss but at the end of the day sometimes that's just how it has to work, if you want your product to work/take off.
I'd love to know if they're still making a loss on the system, this price seems to suggest so.
