I just bought a Vita yesterday and there are some PSP games that I'd like to play... Is it still possible to buy and download them via PS3 and transfer them to the Vita?
hopefully they activate it again without to have to pay again for it.
because now we know it would work ...

Goddamn this, I always see sensationalist stuff like this from him. You can buy the games from the PS3 store and they will appear on your Vita download list.

Title bait, why are you not putting the entire title of the article in your thread title? You have more than enough space to cover it. They are not removing the ability to download all PS1/PSP games.

Argh, it's a shame. But it was fairly obvious that this was a mistake and it was only a matter of time until it was removed. Similarly, it's surely only a matter of time until it's implemented properly. I'd imagine it'll happen at E3, if not before.
Shame though; if it's so easy to do then why not just leave as it is?

Was "directly" in the original title? This was: " Unlocked a Few Days Ago on PS Vita"
The title implies they removed all the games, not the bulk that suddenly popped up a few days ago.
OP title is misleading.
You made me turn on my PSV only to find that nothing has changed. I can still download PSP games (PS Vita/PSP) on the top menu of the PS Store for PS Vita. I can still download PS One Classics For PS Vita/PS3/PSP; again on the top menu of the PS Store for PS Vita.
While I don't doubt that some content that was removed as fast as it was made available, it's as clear as the screen I'm looking at right now to my right on a PS Vita that PSP/PS One games are still available for download on this handheld.

Probably Licensing issues.. new deals have to be made when its directly available on a different device then it original intended to be..
