Forums - Sales Discussion - Can PS4 Beat 360's Record in NPD?

Everything is possible Playstation 2 dominate the world so i don`t why it`s imposible to ps4 to do the same

PS4 - over 100 millions let's say 120m
Xbox One - 70m
Wii U - 25m

Vita - 15m if it will not get Final Fantasy Kingdoms Heart and Monster Hunter 20m otherwise
3DS - 80m

Nah but it won't matter

Bet reminder: I bet with Tboned51 that Splatoon won't reach the 1 million shipped mark by the end of 2015. I win if he loses and I lose if I lost.

lol, no way.

Only if they keep the price advantage then yes, easily. Outside of that it will be hard for the PS4.

Nope, not this early, both consoles will get heavy bundles, promotions, pricecuts within the next 3 years, Xbone will win a few times if it gets the right kind of pricecut. Maybe closer to the end of the generation when it won't matter as much and MS or Sony won't be as aggressive to beat the other, then probably. Thats how it went with 360 streak, until GTA.

As some people had said, doubtful. Some games, like Halo, can turn the tides on NPD;

that being said, nothing is impossible.

People do realize that PS2 outsold Xbox in the states right? Last gen doesn't dictate this gen. Otherwise PS3 would've slaughtered the competition right? Please stop saying US is Xbox land, clearly it's not right now.

No chance. America is still Xbox territory, one big exclusive and they have it for at least 1 month. They'll win Halo month for sure.

Lol tell that to Titanfall.

Sure PS4 will dominate in the Global, squashing its competitors. In NA will be a battle between PS4 and One. In Europe MS will be umiliated.
