Would you like a Mass Effect style multi-player mode in Dragon Age?

With the arrival of the new trailer (which I have watched multiple times) I started thinking about the multi-player mode implemented in Mass Effect 3, and thought it would be really cool if something similar was available in the new Dragon Age game. It was fairly simple as far as multi-player goes, but it was a lot of fun to play, and I believe that the fantasy setting will lend itself well to a similar set-up. What do you guys think?

Never played ME3 so I have no clue what you're talking about. But, if adding multiplayer doesn't detract from single-player I don't really care what they do. I just want the single-player to be awesome.

Nope, just no, no, no.

ME3 multiplayer was a half arsed wave shooter which catered for the multiplaying masses (with micro transactions to make a quick buck). It bloody affected the main story, that was unbelieveable, a disgrace. If you didn't pay for gold you couldn't get the best ending. Bullsh**.

MP should be nowhere near the next Dragon Age.

If they want a MP, do stand alone MMO for all I care, main series games should be single player only.

Hmm, pie.

ME3 multiplayer was surprisingly fun, yes. It was also highly replayable.

I'm actually pretty certain that this game wilk feature something similar. Especially since EA said a while ago that everything they ship going forward will feature online in one way or another

I guess with Dragon Age I can see Dungeon Raiding Co-op with a player controlling each member of the party instead of one player issuing commands. Whoever plays the Inquisitor could issue commands to AI party member while the rest are controlled by online friends.

Add a few procedurally generated dungeons and allow players to create their own dungeons and you might have a winner. BioWare could even choose the best player created dungeons and feature them, even giving the creator a little reward.

I think it would be safer to remain as a single player, since the effect DA2 seems to be fresh on people's minds( I don't count myself among them, I like DA2). BioWare are probably more concerned making the singleplayer a good as it can be to get back into the good graces of those that were aliented by DA2.
