I guess they think the console didn't sell well enough for them to make it a permanent price drop. At least for now.

That's some great logic. "This price cut isn't boosting sales, time to increase the price!"

Maybe it was just temporary... maybe?

Shit son, did you bother reading what i wrote?

"I guess they think the console didn't sell well enough for them to make it a permanent price drop.At least for now."

Economics pugs, if the price drop had yielded a high enough increase in sales that would have led to a good enough forseeable increase in profits than it would have been perminant, but it wasn't, hence the increase back to normal.

I was walking down along the street and I heard this voice saying, "Good evening, Mr. Dowd." Well, I turned around and here was this big six-foot rabbit leaning up against a lamp-post. Well, I thought nothing of that because when you've lived in a town as long as I've lived in this one, you get used to the fact that everybody knows your name.

Don't get grumpy with because you made a silly comment. The price cut was temporary and limited to the web. It was obviously done to give a sales boost during the Titanfall launch window.

At the rate things are going a permanent price adjustment is inevitable. That has more to do with competition.

What will this do to sales?

With Titanfall hype dying out (as one would expect; individual games only provide short-term boosts), I suspect that April NPD will see it get dangerously close to 200k. I have a feeling that this quarter won't be as good as the last quarter for the XBO.

Isn't Q2 normally lower than Q1?

How does that address his point?  This quarter is going to be dismal for the XB1, however you want to spin it.
