I don't expect any new retro game revelations until late 2015 at the very earliest. They just released DKTF, their next game will be holidays 2016 or early 2017.

What I do expect:

Full video preview of Monolith Soft's new game
Zelda U preview
Wii U Smash major single player mode
Animal Crossing U

Overall, I agree with your predictions. Nintendo might end up playing it safe like last year, which is not bad but neither is it something to get super hyped about.

The number of people credited in DKTF was pretty low compared to the number of folks who work @ Retro. I think theres something else theyve been working on for much longer than 4 months.

I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016

Right but a trailer at E3 saying out now could get a few people buying the game. The way Nintendo advertises I doubt that everyone who would buy it would know it exists when it launches.
