How is that unrealistic?

I think it may be a bit to early for Retro next game to be announced. At most, Retro has spent 4 months developing their next game. Not to say that they won't announce it, but I don't think the trailer will be anything substantial or worthy of being announced at E3.

Overall, I agree with your predictions. Nintendo might end up playing it safe like last year, which is not bad but neither is it something to get super hyped about.

Zelda U is enough for me. :P

I would love love love to see all that you mentioned, but I get over hyped every year. I think of everything I want to see and then convince myself I'll see all most all of it and that is never the case.

Of course this isn't all Nintendo's fault as like I said I have very high expectations, but I know deep down what I really want to see (eg F-Zero Wii U, Star Fox Wii U, amazing new IP etc) will not be mentioned. :(

My key predictions:

-Zelda Wii U reveal will kick off the conference; big cinematic trailer, victorious Miyamoto/Aonuma, coming this financial year.

-Sales figures, understand peoples disappointment with Wii U, please see these upcoming games.

-Sizzle reel showing off games we know to be coming; Smash, X, Yoshi Yarn, Bayonetta, Watch Dogs etc. Screen with list of release windows.

-Like to talk about new games; trailers for SMTxFE, Fatal Frame, Sonic Boom.

-NFC project

-Small amount of 3DS stuff; please stay tuned for 3DS focussed direct later this week

-Reveal of QOT

-Like to end with a brand new franchise from Nintendo and Miyamoto, STEAM trailer, possibly gameplay, Christmas 2014

I wouldn't be disappointed with less, I know I'm going to see the new Zelda and that's honestly enough for me, but I think Nintendo has been cancelling Directs and game reveals for an E3 blow out.

Funny i had a dream last night about this, and heard about all these amazing games coming out that Nintendo had announced, at the end of the dream it turned out they were all for the 3DS and Nintendo only announced one game for WiiU which turned out to be football manager of all games, anything better than this scenario and it won't be a let down lol :()

Be prepared for more letdowns in this E3.

NFC, Miyamoto's IP, and S.T.E.A.M. are 3 separate new IPs, all good, all making great use of Wii U features
Quality of Life console revealed elsewhere and takes up no time at E3

My dreams:
Eternal Darkness revived
Fully 3D Kirby console game
Mario Kart DLC is a track editor
S.T.E.A.M. gets a cooler name
Lloyd Irving for Smash

My wildest dreams:
Geno for Smash
Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy for Wii U
Zelda U releases this summer
Nintendo actually lives up to the hype
Everyone is happy and no one complains

i don't expect anything. I made a thread about this.

But for the sake of my hope:

- X will be called Xenofall and will release in november 2014

- Zelda-U will look amazing

- New ip Miyamoto

- Bayonetta 2 gameplay and releasedate

- One BIG surprise ( think it's gonna be a new F-zero, but for the 3-ds. )
