How good will Nintendo's E3 be?

Hype through the roof! 110 65.48%

What I imagine pretty much is:

-Big conference, no Direct, since they will be showing their QoL platform, in other words, they are showing hardware, unlike last year, so they can't use that they do not have hardware to show to not be present like last year, plus it is not like other 2 are presenting new hardware.

- New info on Both Smashes, reveal of various modes for the Wii U version, atleast 2 newcomers are shown, or one newcomer(Palutena) and veteran(Mewtwo), the 3DS version will get a August release date, and Smash will either be specified for Holidays 2014, or slipped to early 2015, if Zelda U is shown with a Holidays 2014 release date.

-Zelda U trailer, and possible release date, even if it is "Coming 2015"

- Reveal of new Mario, though it could stay to only a artwork or early footage trailer, will have Rosalina, and it will be a Super Mario Galaxy game.

-Miyamoto's new IP, it being one of Nintendo's big NFC games.

- Pokken Fighters, with both regular way of unlocking characters, and NFC figures, something like Pokemon Rumble U

- Fatal Frame announcement for the West.

- The obligatory, X, Bayonetta 2, and Hyrule Warriors trailers. Hyrule Warriors and Bayonetta 2, will get a specific release month, and will be kinda close to each other. Hyrule Warriors being July-August and Bayonetta 2 being September-October.

-Third party surprises, one of them being the port in which Tantalus is working for a AAA game developer. The game will come from Square Enix, and will either be Final Fantasy or Kingdom Hearts.

-Majora's Mask 3D, it is too obvious it is occuring

-Some info on the already known big 3DS games, and if sells don't pick up a big game reveal, if not the reveal will come in the first Nintendo Direct after E3.

-S.T.E.A.M is revealed to be Retro's new project, and we see early alpha footage or artwork of it.

- Though not videogame related, I see the possibility, Miyamoto will announce that his new IP will be his last big work, along the rumor project he has with Retro, and he will announce that he will be retiring soon.

-Sonic Boom info

Only things I'm sure about: (I expect it to be an actual conference but honestly don't care either way)
  • Quality Of Life Reveal
  • NFC Game(s)
  • Zelda U

Yeah I forgot about the NFC and QoL.

Nice reasoning for Nintendo E3 conforence. I never looked at it that way.

Wii U:

Zelda reveal + release date between late 2014 and mid 2015, probably the former.

X full reveal and release date for 2014.

Miyamoto's new game.

First party fps (if it's not miyamoto's game already).

bayonetta 2 info and release date for summer or early fall at the latest.

yoshi yarn reveal + release date.

NFC game(s).

SMT vs FE reveal and 2015 release window.

Smash bros info + characters + release date of both versions.

Hyrule warriors info and date.

reveal of at least 2 big 2014 titles and another 2 or 3 for 2015. metroid, star fox, f zero, paper mario, wave race, sin and punishment and other names comes to mind.

indies that will release on wii u, maybe with emphasis on the likes of fast racing neo.

at least one or two funded/partnership third parties exclusives. megaman? resident evil? final fantasy?

third parties multiplatform games releasing on wii u.

wishful thinking: nintendo announces they bought ips like banjo, jet force gemini, conker, perfect dark, bomberman, darksiders and new games are on it's way for 2015.

internet implosion wishful thinking: nintendo announces they bought capcom and/or take two.

3ds:

Pokemon Z.

Monolith soft game.

Smash bros.

2d metroid.

localization details and dates of games like persona Q, monster hunter 4 and bravely second.

Third party exclusives.

$30 price drop on all models and 2ds release on japan.

a few more nintendo titles.

If Pokken is announced, the fanboy inside me will burst out and scream like a little leprechaun!

I don't think we will be seeing Retro's game yet, but that would be freaking awesome...
I anticipate twenty minutes of Hyrule Warriors gameplay that will cause about as much buzz as the Nintendo Land presentation...

Have a nice day...

3DS
- new VC categories
- new pokemon of some sort (Z)
- 5-10 other new games of varying degree
- hardware revision of some sort

WiiU
- hard dates for known nintendo IPs (yarn yoshi, smash, bayonetta2, X, etc)
- new trailers for known IPs and final name for X
- new games! (indie stuff and one or two 3rd party stuff we didn't know about similar to fatal frame)
- ZELDA for 2015
- new hardware bundles / pricing

QOL
- new quality of life stuff
- some form of hardware that is home/portable and is something i can't quite imagine yet

All this will be in ND form same as last year with on-hand demo/playtime in their normal venue.

it's possible that we see it. retro hired enough people to work on two projects simultaneously. this one might be in development for over 1 year.
