Yes I think DLC would work really well and benefit Nintendo greatly because everyone would buy them.

Mario Kart would probably benefit the best from DLC because people get really attached to certain tracks and a lot of times thoose tracks dont make it to the game therefore DLC could work well for Mario Kart. Also making tracks shouldn't be that much work so it won't cost t o much for them to make sense there basically porting the tracks.

Making DLC for Smash Bros will be much more difficult because creating and balancing characters is not a simple task. Also by making some characters only available through DLC didvideds a community. If Nintendo really committed to it I think it could work but it would take a lot of time and probably cost more money then its worth.

After raping us with little to no support and high price of the console for early adopters without any advantage, if they really fucking charge us to play the complete game, on top of the 60 dollars, then it's game over for them. Selling the console and going elsewhere. Nintendo isn't that appealing anymore, they like to believe that though.

Yes. It is always nice to have additional content after release to where ti keeps you coming back instead of getting bored. New characters and levels for smash bros. New tracks for Mario kart, karts, etc. SOunds awesome to me.

THe only thing that is annoying is when they have DLC done already and they just choose not to release it because they want the extra cash.

smash bros isn't the kind of game that benefits from dlc but Mario kart is. MK already has big longevity with the courses it has from start, if it had a yearly dlc pack of 1 extra cup with 4 courses, it would end the generation with at least 50% more courses. I think that would be amazing.

Yes. There is so much potential for both of the games to add content. They are pretty much the definitive version on their respective hardware. I don't think they could be doing stuff in the sequels that they couldn't do with DLCs. Better to have one massively stacked game than 2 different ones.

DLC on about a yearly timescale. a couple new tracks/levels to "freshen up" the game and give people a reason to come replay it a while. free level packs so to not fracture the online community but maybe paid character additions.

customizable costumes/kart (costmetic only) should be paid and available on a more frequent basis.

DLC can be good guys,... embrace it.

I'd be all for it, provided it was meaningful, extra content (so not chopping three characters off the roster of Smash Bros and then later selling them to us). But yeah, if they get around 30 or so characters for SSB, and want to give people the option to play extra ones, then by all means, go for it. Same for Mario Kart, although I'm not quite sure what they would do there. New tracks, maybe?

Not like the DLC in fire emblem though, that was sinful.
