Pretty much expected to happen, though now seems like a strange time. I'd have assumed he would have gone in January when they were knocked out of the FA Cup to be honest.

At any rate, let's hope the next manager is better.

i dont think they can find a worse manager even if they tried. Moyes makes Arsene Wenger look like a good manager. 



Expected. I think they would have been more patient had he finished top 4, but this is just too disastrous for Manchester United.

Terrible news, Man U were the laughing stock of Emgland for a good long time.

As a Chelsea fan I have to say that I find his departure rather saddening.



Once it was evident that CL was far beyond their grasp I wondered how long it would be. Moyes really had little chance to live up to Ferguson and his legacy. The question is does Manchester United enter a post Busby period of managers struggling to recapture the glory?

I think will be a telling Summer transfer window if they can go back to top four or be fighting for EL spots.
