Your late but its still epic news!! Woot! We should all go and spam Xeed's Facebook and Twitter and beg them to localize it

For the news? Yeah i know. I made this thread to catch reactions and wanted to see whether this game could be a system seller.

It's a pretty niche game, so it's not going to be a massive system seller, but nice for the people who love the series.  Nintendo needs more of these types of games.  Individually, they might not move huge numbers, but Fatal Frame will move a few consoles, Bayonetta 2 will, and so on.

Its niche in the western world but with Hyrule Warriors and Fatal Frame U exclusive to the Wii U, i think Nintendo might have won Japan with the Wii U.

Eh... I don't agree with that... Fatal Frame is niche in the west, east, north, and south.  Dynasty Warriors and its spinoffs are bigger, but they're still not huge. Generally 1-2 million sellers.  The Zelda angle may push it a little higher than that, but definitely not enough to make the Wii win Japan, especially when they're missing out on some big games like Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy.

1-2 million sellers are pretty dang good, if you ask me

The way I see it, a system's value isn't just one or two awesome games, the lesser parts add up and count for something too, in fact they're often huge because otherwise people might feel like they're "paying hundreds of dollars for only one game" or something of that sort. Having the big ones is important in terms of major motivation, but it's kinda like "you've got X and Y and a bunch of other awesome games like A through W"

SM3DW, MK8, SSBWU, Zelda U are big-names IMO, but there are already a lot of great titles out, exclusives and not, so many that I couldn't easily list them here, another game like Fatal Frame is another good thing that'll help bide people between bigger releases, keep them invested/dust off the system, etc., people DO complain about Wii U game droughts/not enough releases, after all

I hear there will be a Mario Kart Bundle coming out soon. With a bundle which finally includes a good game, yes it is.

Wonder when it's coming.

Like others said, it won't move many console by itself - however - in conjunction with other titles, it will help.
Having a large, varied and quality library is the way to go for Nintendo to sell the Wii U.

We got news that a new exclusive is being made by Tecmo Koei Games for the Wii U. This is great. It looks like everyone is excited for it but I've never played a Tecmo Koei game so I dont know how great it is but if it will be localized I will probably pick it up.

MK8 SSB4 Zelda U X Bayo 2 and Fatal Frame?  Is it time to buy a Wii U?

Well those games are not even ownable yet for the Wii U.

By the time Bayonetta 2 is out GoW4/5 will most likely have been announced/teased. Maybe a GoW collection Remastered for the PS4 as well. Heck FFXV looks like vey similar hack n slash this time around. So Bayonetta 2 will really have hell for competition this time.

By the time SSB4 is out Ultra SF4 will be out or coming. The opening Cinematic is already online. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vRA5hF1NBzo

By the time Fatal Frame is out The Evil Within will have already been released. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e80rwoiGGaA

By the time MK8 is out Driveclub, The Crew, leaks of GT7 will be on the way.

By the time X is out PS4 should provide it with competition. X looks good, but will it really see a release or a rushed version of itself where the design team just pushes it out regardless of quality?

Zelda U you got me, but is it even real...and I haven't heard if Miyamoto is the leader designing it. I personally think this Zelda game will be on the system after the Wii U until I'm proven wrong/incorrect.

If there is anything I've learned by watching the game industry is that it's better to rely on a steady amount of cool games during the year than just a few a year. The Wii U is not worth the risk until it is 199.99 imho. You asked and you recieved. :)
