Inevitable JRPGs, because that's where they will be. However, I still haven't purchased any of the three yet. No reason too.

I'm gonna wait until Final Fantasy XV to buy a ps4, I think people know that inevitably all the multiplatform games will move to the next gen.

I know that the game will come. By buying the console, I'm helping to make sure that they come. Still waited for 3 exclusives that I really wanted to play to hit the system, though.

4 ≈ One

My guess would be hype and the good reputation of Sony games from last generation. Many people would argue that Sony had most quality games last gen and i cant say id disagree when it comes to the 2009-2011 Sony. Not to mention the wait for this gen was very long.

It's leading the charge into the 8th gen, and it appeals to pretty much everyone and has a lot of good PR.

Because people are clever, they bet on the best hardware made by the one with the best support history, you understand what is an investment right ? If nobody invest in it, then nobody will win, games will take much more time to come, you should thank the early buyers, thanks to them, you will have a good library sooner than expected

I'm not so sure about that. Doesn't buying early prove to Sony that it doesn't need to provide great, exclusive games at launch?

It proves to sony that games will sell better, and more important, it proves to the 3rd party the same thing.

Predictions for end of 2014 HW sales:

 PS4: 17m   XB1: 10m    WiiU: 10m   Vita: 10m

Naughty Dog, Guerrilla, Quantic Dream, Sucker Punch, Media Molecule, Santa Monica... There's a lot of reasons :p

Games is the only reason to buy a PS4 right... more exclusives, more idies, better multiplat... well every side is better on PS4 this gen.

BTW the loved Octodad is already out in PSN.

The reason I'm investing is the games and for the fact that the super-slim PS3 sounds like a dog whistle. -_-

For what reason are people need to have a lot of games to play at one time...

I just don't have the time to do so...

Sony's first party support and long term console support. Can't forget the godly game called Knack.
