Maybe this gen, i predict next mario 3D game will be heavily single player focus to the opposed SM3DW. Wat i mean is maybe just 2 player co op? Mario+Luigi in SMG3/SM Universe type of thing?

Actually now that I think about it, if they can have you travel different areas of massive levels at the same time, one on TV and one on gamepad that would be pretty cool.

@OP: Nintendo isn't the only one who doesn't trust connections yet. I can't think of a platformer that lets you play online co-op.

But Im shit at L4D and so I need all the help I can get =P

BTW my post is a joke, I always play Mario with my family. I wouldnt play online though, its the couch co-op that I feel makes the games so much fun.
