TLOU is still too fresh of a release, so I pick halo 2 to be the better seller. One thing that's clear, it seems neither the ps4 or x1 have much software for their first year on the market. There's just not much coming out, it seems the wiiu isn't the only machine with software droughts. No doubt they'll pick up the pace, but I'm a bit surprised they haven't had a lot more software releases. My ps4 is collecting dust with my wiiu, unfortunately.... Can't wait for games! Looking forward to e3.....

I highly doubt the PS3 version will be able to hit Halo 2's sales alone (8.49m). It's currently tracking ahead of Uncharted 3, so 7 million total for physical + digital is very doable, but that's quite a bit off 8.5 million. Including the PS4 version it could probably do it.

Still, the PS3 version alone should be able to pass Halo 1 ^^ I'd consider that worthy of high praise.

If it hit 6 million in less than a year at full price, I dont see why it shouldnt drag on to sell another 2 million when price get lower and gets some bundles

I'm buying an Xbox One just for Halo 2 and I know about 5 others that are waiting for it as well. Provided they leave it the way Halo 2 was and not like that piece of crap Halo CE Anniversary. Halo 2 is the best Halo multiplayer experience available.

The Last of Us is a fantastic game, but people don't seem to realize just how big Halo 2 was. This was essentially the game that put Halo through the roof. Combat Evolved made a name for itself, but Halo 2 established itself into the franchise it is today. The multiplayer couldn't be touched.
