Forums - Gaming Discussion - PS4 MP3's confirmed?

I do think it's coming check out this video of SHAREfactory (I have it set @ :44 seconds http://youtu.be/MxsdLYIYsH8?t=44s

Now they just need DLNA and a proper Youtube channel I believe. Boo-ya!

Around the Network

This was detailed in the announcement of the next update. You will be able to use music from a USB stick for editing the clips. I'm not convinced though that you can actually store the music on the PS4 or use the music for anything other than editing clips.. The showed songs could just be part of Sony's music streaming service.

If not that is quite telling. Like you wrote in your 3rd sentence, but if they can be used that gives me hope for the PS4 not losing ground and eventual DLNA being included in an update as well. I'm really surprised there is no Youtube channel for the PS4 in the Amazon/Netflix area Menu.

Another thing that is telling, is the fact that they haven't announced mp3 support or an mp3 player within this update.

But I'm not giving up hope. mp3 and DLNA would be a cool thing to announce at E3.
