Sonic Dash.
People tend to knock it off just because it's a mobile game but it's pretty darn good.
It will have to be Lost World, i also really enjoyed Heroes and Secret rings.

Platforming perfection...That's why. 
You know, I actually enjoy the Sonic 3D games. I'm going to say Sonic Heroes.

Lol I know, but back in the day it was always known (at least in my circles) as the other Sonic game, the one that kids begged their parents to buy because it's Sonic and then played for about 5 minutes before ripping it out of their Genesis in favor of something better like Sonic 3/Knuckles or Mortal Kombat.
My cousins had it and we played the hell out of it, but it just seemed like it had a reputation as being the "bad" Sonic game... until 3D Blast came out lol.

It was 1/3 of a decent game, if I recall. >_>
I've seen some insane things said about Adventure 2. Like how great its story and voice acting was. And how well it's aged compared to its contemporaries. Nope and extra nope. Hopefully I'm mistaken and those people were actually talking about Ratchet or some other far superior 6th gen platformer.

Really? Adventure 2 aged as poorly as Adventure 1 and that game came out 2 years earlier!

Sonic heroes is my favourite sonic that is considered good as well as my first 3d one.
