Switzerland had massive shipments of solo units and "Amazon bundles" around 10th April, and they sold very well. Unless that is a fluke delivery into one country - which I seriously doubt - I actually expect a very noticable bump in EU sales unlike what the numbers show.

Are you talking PS4 or XB1?

I agree completely. 12k consoles sold is nothing to sneeze at. Relative to population size, Japan is certainly still a significant market.
I also think "sleeping" would be a better term for the PS4 in Japan. The transition from the PS3 to the PS4 is going to take a lot longer than in the west.

PS4 doing ok though, still 10k+, but it is still wrrying for home consoles in japan

PS4 at the end of March in the US according to NPD: 2.93 million; according to Vgchartz: 2.98 million ;)
Vgchartz needs to shuffle some PS4 numbers in the US around, but overall they're still ahead of NPD.
It's in Europe or the Rest of the World where the PS4 is undertracked, that's why Vgchartz doesn't show it at 7 million yet, ioi probably doesn't know where to put the sales.
