No no no.. That was a joke. But here's my idea for realz.

They need to add a trophy/achievement system and wrap it all together with Club Nintendo. When you buy a new game, it has a code in it like they do now. You enter that code into your Wii U or 3DS and it unlocks an achievement list for that game. Let's call them "Coins". As you play, you earn coins just as you would with Xbox and Playstation consoles, but here's the where it gets special. Those coins are what you use to buy club Nintendo prizes! Get rid of the whole customer survey thing. 3rd parties could also participate in this program, but they were need to meet a few criteria. For example, new games must release at the same time, no missing content, and can include some kind of exclusive Nintendo content. (Example: Mario and Luigi costumes in Rayman Legends.) Ports of older games can still participate if they include some kind of exclusive Nintendo content. (Example: Tekken Tag Tournament 2 or Ninja Gaiden 3: Razzor's Edge.)

So in summary:

Promotes new game sales over used.
Encourages gamers to spend more time with their games.
You're not just building a virtual penis, you can actually use those points for products.
Encourages customers to buy the Nintendo version of multi-platform games.

I would not take issue with this approach. I'd say they should do trophies that way if they ever choose it.

Interesting for sure but heres a slightly better idea to modify your idea... Fuck the trophy's/achievements cause they are useless as hell apart from being a cunt and showing off to your friends which even then is still useless cause no one really cares

So, what they should do is instead of useless trophys/achievements, they should put in stamps! You know, like the ones in 3d World that you can post on miiverse to make your (mine specifically) stick figure drawings look less ass. So for example, you bought Senran Kagura Burst? Great! Here are a bunch of PG13 tits that you can post on miiverse. You bought Smash bros? Cool! Here is a stamp of hawt Samus that you can put on miiverse! You managed to finish Ninja Gaiden 3? Awesome, heres a stamp of Ayane Etc, its unique, a shit ton less useless and makes sense for Nintendo.

Everything else you pretty much said is a nice idea though

I love PG13 tities as much as the next guy, but that kinda elliminates the whole earning coins to buy club Nintendo stuff idea. : Maybe you could earn the stamps as well as the coins thing?

I wish they'd just focus on handhelds as far as their hardware business is concerned and become a 3rd party dev as it pertains to home consoles. I love Nintendo games, but I didn't wanna buy a Wii, and I don't wanna buy a Wii U either. They should just make their games for all platforms. They'd sell truckloads.

For those of you that love you Wii U or whatever, and hate me for saying that....I'm sorry, I'm selfish. I wanna play Nintendo games too. Just not on Nintendo systems

Oooor how about this. Keep the achievement system, but instead of coins you earn tity points. There's a little PG13 picture of the tities in the top right corner of the screen. As you earn more points they start to grow! eventually the shirt starts to rip..! Now you need to ask yourself.. do you spend those points for sweet club Nintendo swag? or do you try to make the shirt rip right off?..
