What the subject says.. What do you prefer? Local multiplayer or online multiplayer? I personally enjoy the online multiplayer of games like Left 4 Dead 2 and  Mario Kart DS , so it's not like I hate online multiplayer or anything, but I am certainly a bigger fan of local multiplayer!

          I personally find local multiplayer more enjoyable thanks to the memorable moments that can happen! For example, I always have a good time playing some Mario Kart or Smash Bros with my friends. It's a feeling that you rarely get when you are playing online if you ask me!

         Oh, and how could I forget the madness that happens when we play Mario Party! I  once got slapped in the face for being too much of a jerk after winning a mini-game ( I think it was the mini-game with the Shy Guy and the flags from Mario Party 2)!

        

local... but online is great for large open games like battlefield.

Local. Online only with friends/people I know. Preferably with Skype/Teamspeak/Mumble etc

Local is clearly better, but online is more convenient/available.

Local, for me. It provides a different energy and fosters a different kind of fellowship.

I only play LoL online (most of the times).

I live in a dormitory so local multiplayer is pretty much every night.

Local, but online is more convenient. Nothing beats playing with friends in the same room though.
