I get a feeling Sony and Nintendo will fail there due to the China X Japan tension :( fuck wars!

And at the same time "Xbox" that cant appeal to easterners in Japan will? They might dislike each other, but i think they have similar tastes in games on that area.

I actually think they will embrace Nintendo. A family friendly, kid appealing brand. Seems like the right place to start.

I guess we shall see.

I believe it when I see it. Still don't think that it's so fast and easy to establish a console market in China.

awesome, a snarky generallization..

...so how about this.   tell me why the chinese market will be any more successful than the indian market?

Show me where I talked about success. Are you not glad that chinese now are able to buy the system officially? This is what I am talking about.

You said "everyone seems to be downplaying it, I wonder why". THen you clarified to say that you meant you wondered why nobody was happy for the Chinese. So let's here what you were wondering then.

Its obvious his original comment was a quick shot at the playstation fanbase. Now he is just trying to back pedal his way out of it.

...cause the chinese just love americans.

The US and Britian actually have had very good relations with China.  Granted, after WWII and prior to the 1970's the relationship was cold, it warmed after the US began trading with China and improved even more when we began allowing US goods to be manufactured in China (not Tiawan).

The Xbox One is expected to sell 100,000 units in China, where it is scheduled to launch in July.

100K in its first month? For 2014? Lifetime?

In any event I am very curious as if even .1% of people there are interested in console gaming that is 30 million potential customers.

Even if he was he isnt really wrong.  If you know how console wars work the comments are pretty predictable.  THis isnt to say the Xbox fanbase wouldnt do the same if Sony announced this.

Comments would prob look like this

"Well Chinese hate Japanese so good luck"

So yes if the announcement was for sony the comments would be vice versa.  THough in the end i dont think we can really predict how the outcome will be and adding to that he is also right that we should just be happy about the chinese lifting the ban for them.  Whether that is what his originol comment was about or not he hasnt been wrong in either situation.

If they're predictable, why do you people keep pointing them out. It adds nothing to the discussion.

Let it go.

I think it's good in general that the ban is lifted. Nobody seems to care about it here, I wonder why. I think posts would be different if it was another system which will be released there officially...

i'm an american, not chinese, so the only fuck i can give about a chinese release is if it changes the sales landscape of gen 8.

...so if that is honestly what you meant,.. then you are talking amongst yourself because not a single other sole in this thread is with you xbone or otherwise.
