If I was able write a story for a Zelda game It would start out with Ganon searching deep within a volcano for a magical object that was sealed away by an ancient race. Upon the objects discovery he finds it enclosed in a transparent rock. As Ganon tries brute strength to break the object free from the rock, it ends in a monumental failure setting off the volcano and spewing the magical object from the volcano.
Of coarse this is where Link comes in as the magical object comes hurtling down in a big fire ball right in Links yard.
That's enough of my day dreaming, I hope Nintendo go for more of a Twilight Princess/Ocarina of Time art style.

A good story would be nice, along the lines of OoT. However, it also shouldn't consume the game, allowing for lots of mystery and exploration as in LoZ. I'd like to see a cool over-arching quest with a neat plot, but lots of little side stories that you can seek out. Like you are wandering through a deep forest and find a stone tablet buried in leaves that leads you to an old house with a secret passage. That leads to some old temple and you read about two lovers that died in a tragic way, but if you grant their last request, you get a heart piece. Shit like that.

And I would give another vote for non-Link voice acting. Long, long over due.

- Voice acting.
- Proper open world.
- No deserted village.
- More mature tone.
- Improved side-quests.
