Forums - Nintendo Discussion - What would you LIKE to see in Zelda U?

http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=180395&page=1

Key points: Recreate the NES-era feel of isolation
-Very hostile overworld
-No guidance on where you need to go or what you need to do next.
-Integrated, segmented world. No "hub", more like a giant Monster Hunter map.
-Like Monster Hunter (and partially Metroid Fusion or Resident Evil 3) an unkillable monster roams part of the map that you have to run like hell from when you find it.

Some people in my thread put better spins on it (TheToneStar had a good-sounding idea that returning life and sound to the world was part of the game)

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Voice acting.

Edit:

Realistically though: no handholding. I don't need everything pointed out to me in an adventure game. Part of the fun is dicovering things for yourself - see what works and what doesn't. Trial and error and all that. I also don't need the long tutorials that Skyward Sword has. Tell me "it's dangerous to go alone", give me a weapon and let the game begin. It's not that hard.

Let's all celebrate Nintendo's laziness.

I dunno, voice acting for everyone other than Link would work...

So long as we can pick between English and Japanese.

Obviously.

Don't really care about the art style. I just want a non-linear action-adventure game with a smart balance of combat, exploration, and problem-solving. Throw in some interesting characters, awesome music, and a new hook, and I'm sold.

This is what we've gotten from the series for the past 30 years, and what I expect going forward.

I want...

Graphics that look like this:

Action that plays like this:

An open world like this:

But one as big and with as many towns as this:

With hints that are no more detailed than these:
