Indeed, but the point is PS4 will continue to languish in the low teens while there are no games charting inthe top ten. It could well drop to Wii U levels at somepoint.

Brand new game on a system with 3x the install base. Ff14 (a late port) will beat those 10k tianfall sales next week.

your comment make me believe you find this fact is something unexpected it's been 8 weeks that ps4 is released in Japan i and those games are cross-generation t's normal that they not on the chart anymore and after launch there was only 2 new release Natural Doctrine and a demo of mgs it's normal that they dissapear rapidly.

ps3 was during the holidays. On December 31st (10 monhs after launch) the ps4 will most likely be ahead of the Wii U and on pace with the ps3 10 months from their launch. Ps4 just needs .47m more in hat time to keep up with Wii U.

bold: why would i realize something that won't happen? ps4 should focus on keep tracking ahead of ps3 before thinking about outselling wii u. but soon it will be tracking bellow ps3 too.

You do realize that the Wii U is tracking below the PS3, right? So, your whole snarky "the PS4 should try to sell better than the PS3 first"-comment is like saying "If your console wants to outsell my console, then it should first try and outsell this console, that was doing better than my console", which makes absolutely no sense. At least check your facts before posting.

ps4 is doing worse than wii u and in another 2 or 3 weeks, will be tracking bellow ps3 too. there's a 1.2kk gap between wii u and ps4 and everything points to the gap increasing a lot in 2014. what exactly points to ps4 surpassing wii u?
