Why is Vita doing so well in Japan all of a sudden?

Biggest surprise of the week for me is Super Robot Wars Vita. As time goes by the Vita versions keep inching closer to the PS3 versions of games, sometimes beating them (i.e. Tokyo Twilight Ghost Hunters). This is the first time a "big" game has done so well proportionally, I think.

Otherwise, meh week. Hardware is dying. WiiU abysmal and PS4 not much better. I don't really think the Vita & 3DS numbers are great either really, but I suppose at least they're both finding their baseline at the moment.

Not sure what to think of Titanfall. On the one hand, for being in the same market as Call of Duty/Battlefield which sell really well in Japan - it's awful. But on the other hand, on the deader-than-dead 360, it's actually alright.

Those ps4 numbers are pretty abysmal so short after launch. I had them 15-25k weekly but now we'll see them dipping below 10k soon.

Changed OP into some slightly more aesthetically pleasing (to me!) charts too.

Surprised Vita version of SRW did so well compared to PS3 version. Vita had a good week this week.
