seriously i love the ost to the original halo trilogy + reach and odst and i am looking forward to hearing the music in destiny when i get the game but this hurts my hype somewhat for the game



WTF bungie you better have a good reason for randomly firing him.

i hope 343 can get him back for halo



Well... maybe he'll work on some Halo games in the future.

i really hope he goes to 343 since while 4 had a solid ost but it couldn't touch any of the previous games in the series

No doubt about it.  The soundtrack is one of the greatest things about Halo. Their themes are so iconic and those games would feel SO different without the atmosphere Marty composed for them.

 

I have no idea what the actual hell Bungie is thinking here.....

I mean just listen to this from the 2 minute mark on.  While the whole song is amazing the second half is just pure goosebumps inducing. Some of the most beautiful music I have ever heard for a game. Marty is a genious.

 

 



At least he won't have a hard time finding another job.
