PS4
Sony shows the respect and support gamers deserve
inFamous is super awesome btw.
Played through it 2 times already
and there are so many games announced and to be announced, Playstation has the best support in AAA and the indie-section.

It's kinda sad really, if you had a PS3 and not a 360, I'd recommend you stick with that for until later in the year or early next. There are a number of good games still being released for it.

That said for the new generation, it's up to you. What games interest you more? FPS or Adventure for example. Xbone is still very FPS and online orientated and have some good looking games for the future. PS4 has those features but there are more single player adventures now and to come. For both consoles there is a lack of games though and there won't be a decent amount until next year. Keep in mind both require subscription to play online but only one requires you to pay to use Netflix.

Hmm, pie.

If you like shooters- Xbox One

If you like Jrpgs- Ps4

If you like Mario- Wii U

mmm, I don't agree.

PS4 will have soooo much more than jrpgs... also the best version of shooters like Call of Duty and Battlefield this time around.  And what about Destiny ?! We all know it will be better on PS4 !

Also WiiU is not only Mario.

Depends of what exclusives do you like the most...

Probably not the best of time to jump in but seems like you should go for Xbox for now.
After you're done with shooting titans you can always trade it for a ps4.

edit: wow, someone made 200 alts just to screw up the poll ;p

I would just wait a bit till E3. Then you will hear about all the games we can expect in the near future and you don't have to base your decision on the few games that are out today.

All we know for certain is that the ps4 has the best hardware, better running multiplatform games and also a huge stable of 1st party developers that are guaranteed to deliver pretty awesome games. With MS it's still a question mark whether or not they're willing to invest in good new ip's. But they didn't do any of that for the last 6 years now.

The Xbone is one entertaining little bitch. Its a multitasking little whore. It sacrifices graphics for snapping. It gives up the pure power that could be used for gaming. But Damn, it's so fun doing more than one thing at one time. Just like having 2 or more girls at one time. I mean, I wouldn't know much about sex, because I'm a pathetic gaming nerd that visits VGChartz every 10 minutes, but I see a lot of porn. Anyways, you won't miss the graphics, if you're multitasking almost all the time, your game will be 3/4 of the screen anyways. So that's that, I'll toss that bone for the M$ side. But yeah, buy a PS4.. Sony4Life 1080P

Xbone... the new "N" word   Apparently I troll MS now | Evidence | Evidence

If you're invested in single player games with various characters, worlds, gameplay styles and action packed stories buy with multiplayer as a secondary focus (but still strong focus) PS4. Also, if you're into a lot of games being made that take risk to make Sony is your best bet. You have the highest chance of one mans trash being your treasure with the choices you get on the Playstation brand. If you're a console graphics whore the PS4 is your best bet. The multiplats and exclusives will both be superior on the PS4.

If you are interested in competitive gaming with primarily a multiplayer view and less about new major stories and characters then the Xbox is for you. If you want a sure thing but less variation in your gaming (meaning less games creation that sticks overall) then the Xbox is your thing. Its primarily a competitive shooter console.

The PS4 (to me) edges out the Xbox One with the directional pad and the analogs feel very good. Everything on the Xbox one controller is very clicky and the directional pad (while being better than the 360's) feels cheap compared to the PS4. There isn't enough proper movement and is just very clicky. The Xbox one does feel better to hold though so that is a big redeeming factor, but you also have to take away for the fact that there is no spacing between the triggers and bumpers. It doesnt suit a player who games with four fingers on the top buttons.

Both consoles are pretty much equal when it comes to entertainment, both having Blu Ray and various apps. The Xbox Ones dashboard is more aesthetically pleasing, but harder to move through than the Ps4.

Buy both and youll want to trade in the X1 under a month. They are similar but PS4 just does gaming better, if you care about that then the choice is pretty damn simple.

If you're only interested in the now, it seems the X1 is your choice. If you are interested in trying new things you missed you will like the ps4. It will also be the system oriented to a worldwide audience where the x1 seems to only be oriented to the US market. Wich is like saying you can expect more than just shooters.
