Get the Xbox, Quantum Break, Sunset Overdrive, Halo 5, Halo 2 Anniversary, Gears of War, Fable Legends, Forza Horizon 2, etc...... Also Indie games will only get better on X1 Below looks really good and Behemoth is working on a game for X1. Get a PS4 if you really care about............ Resolution I guess, and they do have more indie support as of right now.

This is an ignorant statment you have no insight in what the PS4 has to offer but downplay it because..... oh I see you screen name screams troll

Lmao, it was kind of just to convince him to get a Xbox One, so I just left out what PS4 has to offer and maybe you should read the rest of the comments before making a fool of yourself.

It depends what games you like to play. Don't just look at the games that are out currently, but also look at what will be coming in the future.

I chose to buy a PS4 because of the first party studios that Sony owns. There is bound to be something they release that you will like. There are also several free games that have been and will be released on the PS4: Warframe, Blacklight, PlanetSide 2, and the game similar to DayZ that was recently revealed could find its way on PS4.

There are also several indie games that are being made for PS4. Another game that I am extremely excited for is H-Hour: World's Elite which is calling itself "the spiritual successor" to the SOCOM games. It will have a great community and it is going to have several clan features. The gameplay is more tactical so it will be something different from your typical CoD/CoD emulator.

If you like Destiny, it is a fair bet that you also like Halo.

That alone should in fact sway you back the other way towards an Xbox One.  As Toastboy pointed out in his own trolly way, the difference between multiplats are even more negligible than last generation.

You're also forgeting Project Spark, which looks awesome and unique!

Saying you'll enjoy Halo because you're looking forward to Destiny is like saying you'll enjoy Crash Bandicoot if you like Uncharted. Just because Bungie made both games does not mean they'll appeal to the same people. And the difference between multiplats is not negligible, there is a clear difference in resolution, which is why I said if you want to primarily play 3rd party games then PS4 is the clear choice. If XBO exclusives are important then go for that.

The difference is absolutely negligble.  Even side by side its hard to tell the difference in most multiplats without being told they are there and pointing them out.

I have always found this 'if you want to play multiplat games' thing ridiculous.  I mean, the games look and play damn near the same on both consoles, a gap that is pegged to decrease, not increase.  It is absolutely about exclusives, services, price and features.  This particular player has a clear leaning towards Microsoft exclusives and services, the price difference is a constant (though is important to some) and the X1 has a greater out-of-the-box feature set.  Everyone has their own general opinion - but in this specific instance it is clear which console is the best option for the user in question.

And to your point about developers, lets use a better analogy from the same developer.  The vast majority of gamers gave TLOU the benefit of the doubt because the developer most recently made uncharted, and they were right.  Bungie's most immediately recent games were all Halo.  Their new game at a minimum tends towards Halo gameplay and art direction, even if the scale and multiplayer type are different...safe bet.

i would say go for which ever system most of your friends got. I own PS4 and Ps3 and play more PS3 cuz most of my friends still don't have Ps4. And don't worry about PS4 not having good games. trust me they are coming. Switch is always good sometimes.

Read my earlier posts, I said the OP would enjoy an XBO more than a PS4. He seems to prefer XBO exclusives to PS4 so he should stay with XBO. I took issue with your statement that the difference in multiplats is negligible, there is a clear difference in 720p and 1080p. If you want to disagree, fine, but that doesn't make the difference go away.

I honestly don't see the comparison to Destiny and Halo. From what I've seen the two games look nothing alike. I'd compare it to Borderlands first but even that doesn't quite describe. I'm not sure if I can compare Destiny to anything right now.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

Well technically its a significant diff however the naked eye test makes it tought to see eye popi g siff. This is because developers choose to use the extra muscle of the PS4 to up res and or fps instead of using the rescoures to input more distic visual e hancments because its cheaper.

WAIT!! Don't buy a new system just yet! Hold off until at least the holidays or for something that your really excited for that can only be played on one system. Imo neither system is worth paying the prices for the selection of games currently available. Just buy Titanfall for the 360 like I plan to do. Ya, it doesn't look as pretty but your saving yourself $500.

Personally the next Halo will make me jump ship to whatever console it's on. If Halo jumped to playstation magically I would cuddle sony's nuts in a heartbeat, but currently those nuts are MS and will probably stay MS until Halo dies or sucks terribly. That doesn't mean I would never buy a system without Halo it just means it's not a priority.
