So basically... they optimized it instead of just using a standard version? nb although kinda expected?

Also... they better have fixed sonic's legs by their next trailer or launch cause holy shit, did that look disgusting

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

The game doesn't look quite as good as X1 or PS4 game, but for the Wii U it sure is impressive!

Now what was that Epic was saying about Wii U not even being able to handle Unreal? ;p

wii u doing great graphics didn't surprise anyone. and it was said from the start that cryengine 3 would support wii u.

Not sure why simply using CE3 is impressive, even the PS3 and 360 were compatible with it :P

Still, it's a nice looking game. Perhaps not quite the jump i was expecting after a year and a half on the market, but with Nintendo's lack of graphical ambition we have to settle with the ambition of 3rd/2nd parties. Definitely going to keep an eye on this ^^ Haven't bought a Sonic game in year.

Even the Xbox 360 can handle Cryengine 3. What's the point?

Mario Kart 8 looks better. And I like the look of Super Mario 3D World better as well. Though haven't seen enough footage yet, so might change.

Guess Im the only one who likes the new design then =(
Anyway hope they use the dual sceens well in this

LOL, that's great.

@OP: I'm excited about Sonic Boom, not because of the graphics but because it supports local co-op and because of the alleged emphasis on exploration.
