One could argue that entertainment, on the whole, is as valuable as anything else man has created. Life is hard. We all need a way to cope. Entertainment has been filling that role since the first cave painters decided to make story books on rocks.

Because Pirlo is older and have more time to be know, playing for the second best winning country team of the world, Italy.
I really can't see Rooney being more famous than Pirlo, I mean, today? Sure. But overral, never.
But if you can prove this, I would be shocked.

It is simple. The most televised football leagues around the world would be EPL, then the Spanish League.  Those players get more exposures than others.

Look at MIchael Jordan for example. Do you think he would be that well known around the world if he played his whole career in a crappy basketball league outside the NBA?

Inter? Milan? Juve?

I mean, maybe EPL and La Liga have more exposure, but no one can seriously say Serie A es irrelevant or a crappy league.

Hell, Serie A has the same number of titles(12) in Champions league and more second places, Milan has more titles than any English Club, and 1 was won with Pirlo in the team

Pirlo has already been world champion with Italian national team, second to brazil with more world cup titles(5 and 4)

Sorry I wasn't intenting to link crappy to football for the italian league. Just that NBA really is the only good basketball league to gain world fame in hence the term used for that case.

I'm not saying he isn't famous but over all Rooney because of the better world wide exposure would be more famous to the general public who arn't real huge football fans.

Playstation and Video games changed my life and will be for many people around the world. So, me and many others who experienced the impact of the Playstation in their daily life to better(so PS & gaming became passion) will agree Andrea Pirlo and some may not those are who play the games just for fun instead of passion.

Also Playstation innovated Gaming and introduced new technology. It also created a ecosystem with huge number of jobs around the world and made the gaming better and provided some memorable moments from games.



GAMING is not about spending hours to pass/waste our time just for fun,

its a Feeling/Experience about a VIRTUAL WORLD we can never be in real, and realizing some of our dreams (also creating new ones).

So, Feel Emotions, Experience Adventure/Action, Challenge Game, Solve puzzles and Have fun.

PlayStation is about all-round "New experiences" using new IP's to provide great diversity for everyone.

Xbox is always about Online and Shooting.

Nintendo is always about Fun games and milking IP's.
