Forums - Gaming Discussion - It seems Elder Scrolls Online is not a succes

Before you say it will be a sucess look at this

http://www.vgchartz.com/weekly/40902/Global/

This a the nummer of Star Wars Knight of the old Republic it sells over 1,4 Million Unit in the first week. Elder Scrolls only near by 1/6 of this numbers. It will be interesting to see what will be in the Future but for me it is great FREE TO PLAY^^. And i doubt 1 Million Unit will sell for Xbox One and PS4. But we will see.

PS I will buy it for my WII U but you know why i not buy^^.

why are you disregarding Digital Downloads? also this will come out on PS4 and XB1 later this year, we still have to see how it performs on them as well.

digital sales. Probably it already crossed the 800k mark

Physical sales are a really bad way to judge the success of an MMO. The LT sales of FF14 on here (which for some reason is the original and the re-make combined), is only about 1.1 million and 740k for the PS4 version, yet in the real world the game is a huge success.

This thread is not a success

I hope it fails, bring on Elder Scrolls 6. Down with MMO.

I'm not going to say if it's a success or not but wouldn't the argument about digital sales also apply to SWTOR? Yet SWTOR's physical still far outnumbers ESOs physical sales.

The key number is sustained subscribers after the point where people have played through the launch content (2-3 months). Launch sales contribute little to lifetime revenue.

yeh but who buys their MMO's digital these days..
like nobody right?

Who buys a PC games physically? But I do agree the game won't be a big success and will likely go F2P by the end of the year.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!
