So is it a stand for your GamePad for comfortable steering?

Or does it come with a controller that looks like the GamePad?

It's a stand and doesn't come with the controller as far as I know

It looks weird but I think you can get used to it. It is a nice idea and another reason that the Gamepad is unique. But I am not interested in this thing.

I played MK8 last year at Nintendo's Best Buy E3 event and was fine with handling. I prefer sticks, but moving the pad still worked fine, not sure the need for this additional peripheral.

It's a neat little device but I could do without. I don't imagine I'll use GamePad steering anyway. I tried it during a MK8 demo and, while fun and immersive, it didn't give me the level of control I wanted.
